Christmas at Jeremiah
A good way to end the year for the children at the Jeremiah Creche.
Yesterday I had the opportunity to celebrate Christmas with the children at Jeremiah.
The school closed yesterday for the holidays, and we decided an early Christmas celebration was just the way to do it. One of the small trees in the yard was decorated with handmade paper decorations and Christmas Crackers, courtesy from the kids at the Ulusaba Kiddies Academy.
Each child at Jeremiah got their own wrapped Christmas presents. From Dolls to plastic hammers and even Umbrellas. After all the presents were handed out, the unwrapping started. It was heartwarming to see the smiles on all their little faces when they saw what they had been given. One little boy in particular just jumped up and down when he got a chocolate in his Christmas Cracker!
Thank you so much to everyone for the effort you have put in, to make this day special for them.
Lastly, I would like to thank Charmaine, and her son Benjamin in particular, for donating the toys. You really made a difference in their lives this Christmas.
