Leopard Hills cats

Firstly I wanted to thank Hannes and June for looking after Tim and I when we were at Leopard Hills on our honeymoon in early April……it seems so long ago now…

Tim and I were quite demanding in wanting to see ‘cats’. So thanks to June’s amazing tracking skills and Hannes’ fantastic off road manoeuvres, they took us to view leopards, lions and cheetahs. It was truely a humbling experience in seeing these wild animals in their natural surroundings.

The drive back to the lodge in the evening and being surrounded by 400 water buffalo’s was also a sight to behold.

I never thought I would see the day when a Land Rover full of people would be clapping and congratulating a dung beetle for moving a piece of dung up hill. It was brilliant !

Tim and I have so many wonderful cherished memories of our time at Leopard Hills due to the animals and the staff. A big thank you from the both of us to you. We look forward to planning our next trip back there which will hopefully be next year. Unfortunately now it is back to the boring jobs of banking which will enable us to escape once more back to Leopard Hills at a later date.

Thank you to Hannes and June for an unforgettable holiday. Tim and I were quite depressed at having to leave the lodge in order to go to the Maldives !!!
